Projects

Our recent projects include:

Scottish Enterprise - Space Unlimited

Paul wrote the how guide for Space Unlimited, a venture which puts young people together with businesses to solve real problems.

The guide is used by young people, teachers, arts and community workers, and business leaders to help unleash and channel their creativity.

University of London – London Connection

Helen was commissioned to launch a newsletter for the University's 34,000 distance learning students who live all over the world. The newsletter's key function is to engender a sense of belonging to a global student community.

The project involved interviewing students and staff, writing news and features, proofing the final copy and liaising with the designer. The resulting 'London Connection' is a lively six-page, A4, full colour document that is easy to read, interesting and re-inforces students' connection with the University of London.

Fujitsu – Industrialisation white paper

Paul worked with Fujitsu in the UK to articulate the company's component-based systems delivery ethos to the CIO community.

The paper takes technical concepts and translates them into clear business terms, using analogies from other industries to convey the benefits of this innovative approach.

University of Surrey – Annual Report

Working closely with Surrey's communications department, Helen wrote several in-depth features on key areas of the organisation for the University's annual report.

The range of topics encompassed the University's ten-year plan, the launch of a new business and management school, space satellite technology and collaborations with industry. While writing her features, Helen was able to adopt a tone that was in tune with other pieces contributed by the University's in-house professionals. The writing team, including Helen, created a coherent and interesting document and important record of the University's activities.
